I manage the Computer User Support Group from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. I typically arrive a bit after 8, and I'm usually here later than scheduled. I'm almost always online. You get the picture.
The Computer User Support Group is a recharge-based support group for the Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences Department. We are "sysadmins for hire" for EECS faculty and staff. My expertise includes operational computer support for research and administrative functions, focusing on unix and back-end Windows support.

I have some random sysadmin notes. Additionally, I have an old directory with some How-To pages. |

I'm riding the Waves-to-Wine ride on September 21/22 to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, along with some others from our campus. I'll be riding 150 miles this year. We're again calling our team "The Anti-MS Crew". :-) You can join us, or sponsor me online here! Here's how much I've raised toward my goal so far (let me know if you'd like to sponsor me!): |
